Without a doubt, the best way to improve your chess game is to study tactics. Next in line is the study of basic endgame technique.
The detailed study of the openings is the least useful thing many players do. Players below Class A level can do just fine
by simply knowing the general concepts of opening theory.
With that in mind, this site offers positions in both tactics training and endgame play. Most of the tactics positions have
come from game files on the Ossimitz website (see links page).
